Carole Giovacchini grew up in Chicago Illinois and graduated from Mundelein College majoring in Marketing.  She has held various sales and marketing positions in the graphic arts and worked at R. R. Donnelley & Sons and International Paper. In 1998 she took her first watercolor class.  The magic started and an artist was born.  Carole has been taking classes at the Palette & Chisel Club in Chicago, IL since 1998. She has studied with such wonderful artists as Ingrid Albrecht, David Becker, James Wisnowski, Scott Powers  and Plein Air Painters of Chicago.
